Consolidation for small schemes
We are pleased to announce that Margaret de Valois will be speaking at the first Pensions and Lifetime Savings Association Yorkshire seminar of the 2021/2022 season, to take place virtually on Tuesday, 9 November 2021 at 12.00 midday.
The session, titled “Consolidation for small schemes”, will focus on the unique challenges Smaller DB schemes face relating to disproportionate levels of costs and barriers to good governance. However, a growing number of small scheme solutions are appearing in the market. In this session, Margaret will provide an overview of how alternative endgame solutions for smaller schemes operate including their approach to controlling costs and managing risks, and the key considerations when deciding on the right approach for your scheme.
Margaret de Valois is a Senior Consultant in Punter Southall Pension Solutions, where she supports the Stoneport team in the design and implementation of the business development strategy for their pension consolidator as well as advising and guiding Stoneport’s clients through the consolidation process. She has more than 20 years of experience in the pensions industry advising clients on pension strategies and is a BBC Expert and regular contributor in the pensions press.
